Spoke at the event “Japanese Culture in Design & Materials”

Takeda was invited to an event titled above by Vietnam Interior Association VNIA held at C.space
in Ho Chi Minh City from October 23rd to 25th.
This year, Japanese designers working in Vietnam spoke over three days, focusing on the following three key themes:
* Shizen (自然) – Harmony with nature and natural materials
* Kanso (簡素) – Simple but functional design
* Ma (間) – The meaningful use of space and intervals
Takeda was given the theme of “Kanso,” and concluded that by calling the simplicity that has characterized Japanese architecture from the early modern period to the present day “Quiet Architecture”, he was able to reaffirm the direction his own work is aiming for.
