Spa Sothys Tran Duy Hung, Hanoi
A spa as a salon built into a skyscraper
Many high-rise buildings are under construction in and around Hanoi City.
They are homes, offices, and other places where people conduct various activities.
It is, so to speak, a three-dimensionally constructed city.
The elevator is a main road and the corridors of each floor are alleys.
Even if it is closed off by walls and doors, it is a place where people can interact and feel human warmth and kindness.
This spa was built in such a building.
The main functions are the showroom, which displays the products of Sothys, a French luxury brand,
and the treatment room called Cabin.
By making use of the many uneven surfaces that were built as a residence, we created a place where visitors can relax in the connection between the two functions.
As a result, we intended to make this space a place for people to interact that is suitable to be called a Salon.
