Sothys Spa
From Cellular to Space
On the west bank of “Tay Ho”, the largest lake in Hanoi, construction of a new urban area is proceeding.
A dynamic, futuristic, urban landscape with a bristling tower crane forest is beginning to expand on both sides of the main road towards the city from the International Airport.
Among them, the Sothys Spa was planned on the second floor of a high-rise residential building which was completed in 2017.
Sothys is a professional skincare brand based in France with a history of more than 70 years.
Getting the name of the star 「Symbol of Beauty Sothys」which even Venus was so jealous of her that she made her disappeared from the night sky according to the ancient Egyptian myth, to offer to augment the beauty of women today using thorough scientific research.
The concept of the company is to make the skin beautiful from a cellular level.
In designing, we made our design based on the formation of beauty from this cellular level.
The nature surrounding us is made up of gathered small pieces.
The green of trees is made up of leaf by leaf and a big sunflower is made up of smaller petals.
Following nature’s origin, we decided to create the whole space by gathering small, natural materials.
They are glass mosaic tiles, fine grid wall, beautiful wooden-style materials.
The light is made to spread soft reflective light to every corner of the room so that the female’s skin will shine most beautifully.
we chose the color of the sofa and curtains from Sothys’ brand colors.
