A space – backdrop of someone’s memory

Hoi An Silk Marina is the Riverview Resort facing Thu Bon River which flows through South of Hoi An Ancient Town.

The River is rich of water which passes quietly makes us think of Silk – the local specialty of Hoi An with soft but strong feature.

We think it’s important to express the softness, strength, suppleness into consideration of the hotel design.

Round pillar inside the lobby, ceiling of reception counter and wall backside of bar counter are added some fine and delicate decorations.

Painting of Wall and Ceiling in dark blue grey is to make the green color of lobby front Poolside Garden shiny stand out.

At the center of the lobby where people gather or spend for a while before coming back home, a white big sofa is placed for their memory backdrop.

We are continuing design this hotel.

From now, the renovation such as restaurant, guest rooms are being done on schedule.

When all items are finished, we wish our clear design vision can be spread throughout the whole space.
