D Villa
A Japanese-style villa that blends into the streets of Hanoi
This is a villa for sale planned in the western development area of Hanoi city.
There was a demand for a traditional yet sophisticated design that was both Japanese style and fully satisfied
the needs of Vietnamese buyers.
The traditional Japanese townscape is at most 3 stories high, so the facade of a 4-story villa is too long and slender to consider
as a Japanese style.
Therefore, we thought about designing a semi-detached type villa where two houses form one building, rather than giving each two facades a single building.
At the same time, we decided to divide the volume with eaves and small roofs to create a connection that gives a nice rhythm to the cityscape, rather than the size of a building.
We also prepared several variations to change the streetscape of condominiums that tend to be monotonous
when the same buildings are lined up.
We imagined that as the roadside tree grows, it will become a place for developed communities.
